realtorron Posted June 4, 2006 #2 Share Posted June 4, 2006 It depends on how much money you want to spend and if you get motion sickness, The higher up in a ship the larger and costlier they are and the more ship movement is felt, the lower and center of the ship the less movement is felt. Bell Ringer Posted June 5, 2006 #3 Share Posted June 5, 2006 We always look for midship and on a deck where the dining room is-or one above or below as you can be sure they want to have that area with less movement and rocking! Just make sure you see the deck plans ( may have to get one of those flyers that RC printed up after the catalogs came out) so that you can see what is over and below you. We like it when there are not busy traffic areas on the deck above us!
wrp96 Posted June 5, 2006 #4 Share Posted June 5, 2006 If you are looking at an Oceanview cabin, avoid deck 7.
TurtleMomma Posted June 6, 2006 #5 Share Posted June 6, 2006 I was on Deck 5. Worked well for me.
