jstducky Posted June 28, 2004 #1 Share Posted June 28, 2004 question: i have an excursion booked with nativeway in a few weeks... i was wondering, what do we do with our stuff while we're in the water with the stingrays? do they allow us to keep bags, etc. on the boat while we're in the water? do we need to worry about the security of our belongings? thanks in advance! Stevesan Posted June 28, 2004 #2 Share Posted June 28, 2004 Leave your valuables in your room safe. I've never had a problem with my personal items being intruded upon on a dive boat. I often wear a waterproof "wallet" attached while snorkeling for my cash and ID. "Splash Caddy" wallets are PADI ceritified and come in various sizes: http://www.watchfuleyedesigns.com/products.php?id=3&PHPSESSID=739fa7d9c1db410279e2a09fa847347e
drdaddy Posted June 29, 2004 #3 Share Posted June 29, 2004 Did not have any problem at all leaving stuff on board. There is always someone in the group who doesn't go in water but I would be very surprised if someone form another boat would board your boat just to steal stuff. I don't think it would be worth their effort. You are really not that far from the boat, anyway. And the crew is always on and off the boat helping people and getting stuff. Don't worry. It is really a great time and Nativeway is really great. They even let me drive the boat home a bit. They were just tired, I guess.
