Karen,

Thanks for this link and thanks for the refresh of the memories, great photos.

It will be interesting what they use the Dome area for as it shows the casino has been moved to a lower deck on the Dawn's plans.

Cant wait.

Great Pictures Karen, makes me want to rush out and book my 2nd cruise right now :D . You must have done a lot of searching to find them.

Not really. Found them through the cruiseclues website. Looks a nice ship though doesn't it?

We've been on the Regal Princess three times, most recent being 3-9/22-06, Buenos Aires to Valparaiso, 'round the Horn. She is a nice ship, and a good rider should you hit heavy seas.

Moving the Casino out of the Dome I think a good idea, one that had been announced a couple of years ago, but never completed. The room could be much better used as a lounge/observatory (but I am not a gambler!).

The library is small, and really needs expansion and a new set of books.

Standard cabins on Regal Princess are larger than the Princess norm.

Regal Princess is the last ship in the current Princess fleet with a dedicated cinema, a feature I like!

I think you folks "down under" will like Regal Princess.

According to the deck plans for Pacific Dawn, the cinema is not there. We'll have to wait & see. I can't for the life of me think of why they would take it out. Not that it bothers me, I'm not a movie buff but DH is. I also like the idea of the Dome being an observing/lounge area. Looks like a great place to have a drink & watch the world go by.Glad to hear you enjoyed sailing on her. I'm sure we will too.

Great photos Karen,

We were on the Regal for 21 days in January this year. She is a lovely ship, very stable in rough conditions. We were in a force 11 gale for 24 hours going down to Antarctica and she was great.

We had a mini suite which was wonderful, very large, sunny and bright and decorated in lovely soft blues and aquas. The bathroom was completly marble on floors and walls. There were plenty of drawers in the bedroom and the wardrobe was a walk in.

There are wonderful deck areas at the aft of the ship on about four or five decks which are out of the wind and great for sunbaking and relaxing.

There was also a great Italian restaurant near the Characters Bar. I am wondering what they will do with that when it comes down here. We also loved the movie theatre, you can see the screen from every seat.

It is a lovely ship, in great condition and it will be a great asset to P & O for cruising all year round in our waters.

In the mini suite, there was room for a third person if the couch would become a bed. I am not sure about the normal verandah suites as I do not know the size of them but I don't think there was a lot of room for an extra bed.

The suites are big and beautiful and you could easily have another two people in with you there as they are two rooms and the bathroom is divided into a room with a bath, a separate shower room and a toilet.

could any 1 help me? just wondering, in the balcony cabins.. how is it priced? can you have the 3rd n 4th person in there for normal price or is it different? they look so nice:rolleyes:

We looked at getting a balcony cabin but they said we couldn't have 4 people in there. You may be able to have 3 but we only asked for 4.
