Hi Steve and Ed,

I'll be sailing on the Millennium November 28 cruise! I'm part of the PIED PIPER group, I heard there will be over 400 of us in the group! Are you with PIED PIPER? Should be a lot of fun.

See you in November!

David

Hi you guys,

We're not gay so hope you won't mind us posting this note to you.

Just wanted to let you know that we had already started a new roll call for the 11/28 Mille sailing. Here's the link to it. Feel free to post on it.

Not too sure why they changed around the message boards. Anyway found our way on to this one at long last. Peter and I are looking forward to meeting everyone. Hope we have a huge Cruise Critic Party. The one on the Maiden Sailng of the QM2 was lots of fun.

There are four of us from KC going on this cruise. Don't know about any other women, but, it will be good to have a few more hometown cruisers. Can't believe I booked this four months ago and STILL four more months to go.

Does anyone have any information on the Elysium Resort? Will have two days pre-cruise and looking for somewhere close to the beach to stay. Looking forward for any help anyone can give.

Thanks

Mark

Hi Mark, great to hear that you are from KC! Have you guys cruised before? We've taken several, however none on Celebrity. We are planning on going down on Saturday, however haven't made reservations as of yet. How many are in your group? Four months seems like eternity!

Hi Mark

Just FYI- the weekend after Thksgvng is always the Hurricane Showdown, a large gay amateur athletics softball tournament for the southern region. Their host hotel is the Embassy Suites on 17th St (causeway).

If the resorts are booked up, I understand it's a lot of fun to be at that hotel for the weekend :)

Hey peeps!

Hope everybody is having a great summer. Can't wait to be back on board the Millie. Last year was so much fun and she's a fab-u-lous ship! Can anyone recommend any fun guest house to stay at before the cruise. We're planning to leave San Diego on Friday and enjoy a few days, pre-cruise, in Ft. Lauderdale.

SanDiegoGuys - Info on a Gay Inn - Ft. Lauderdale

Greetings Steve and Ed--- We will be in Ft. Lauderdale next February after a 10 day cruise on the Rotterdam. After that cruise we will be staying at

“The Flaming - Inn Amongst The Flowers,” in Ft. Lauderdale. They have a neat WEB page. We have many friends that have enjoyed this Inn and we are looking forward to our upcoming visit.

By the way, we will be on a MED cruise on the Millennium, out of Barcelona on Sept. 30th.

Your welcome Dana. Visit often and join the forum if you feel up to it.

Where is everyone. This is a huge group (over 400). Certainly there must be others that want to introduce themselves or talk about excurions??? Come out, come out, wherever you are.

Hello All;

Just a little note. Five of the eleven in out little group talked by phone today. We can't wait to sail. As listed earlier we are independent of the three large Gay Travel Agency Groups on board. We are sure that we'll be meeting lots of fellow family. It should be a great time for everyone.

Has anyone heard about the Cruise Critic Party? Did everyone go to their site and sign up for it?

Dan

Hey Everyone!

Hope your Summer’s been wonderful! Can’t wait until the cruise. We were on it last year and had a fantastic time. Dan, when we were on the Millennium last year we booked independently and met up with everyone from Pied Piper and the other groups at the Martini Bar before econd seating dinner and at the Disco each evening. When we bookd our cruise we didn’t even know a gay group(s) was booked on the ship. It was a wonderful surprise and made the trip even more memorable! So we booked again for this year.

We booked with four of our friends this year and a few of them chose to book independently. We never made it to the Cruise Critics Party last year since we made new friends before the party and met them for drinks at the Martini Bar.

Hans, Lee and Jeff, thank you all for the information on where to stay. We still haven’t made reservations and will do so this week once we find out our friends schedules. Last year we met up with the 30+ people we chatted with on the "role call"message board at the pool bar on the sailing day of the cruise. It was nice to finally meet the people we had been chatting with and have new friends on board.

An idea...If anyone is going to be in Ft. Lauderdale pre-sailing maybe we could meet up at a bar and have a pre-cruise meet and greet if interested. It would be a great way to start the vacation off. Yet me know if there's interest!

There’s also another message board in the “Celebrity Role Call” section that has our sailing on it. It is very active and has both gay and straight passengers on it. You might want to check it out also for more info.

Sea-Ya later!

Hi everyone

KenC and Phill from Brighton (UK) here - we are part of Dan Tobey's group (thanks Dan for persuading us to come along) and we can't wait. After months of rain in the UK and the autumn already arrived, we are ready for some sun !!!!

Hey everyone!

I hope your weekend was great! Ed and I booked our flight to Ft. Lauderdale this weekend. We arrive on Friday. Can’t wait to get to Florida.

Anyone interested in the pre-cruise “Meet and Greet”...Let’s meet at Cathode Ray on Las Olas at 6pm, Saturday November 27th. It’s a great little bar in Ft. Lauderdale and easy to get to. We can figure out later what we can wear to identify us all (wink). There is a restaurant next door that is gay owned or gay friendly that we’ll end up eating at later that evening if anyone want’s to have dinner too! You can email me directly at sddesigner@yahoo.com or join the email group that Ed has created for all of our friends going on the cruise, boysontheboat@topica.com.

Looking forward to meeting you all!

Sea-ya,

Steve & Ed
