Individual Vatican Tours

Can anyone offer me info or advice on booking a guided tour of the Vatican through the Vatican? I went to the Vatican web site and followed the instructions regarding date, time, # of people and their names and included all this info in a written request. I faxed it to the Vatican at 011 39 06 6988 5100 thirty days prior to my requested date for a tour. I haven't received a response and it's been almost a week. Should I re-fax my request or simply be patient? I'm afraid that the tours will be full by the time I try to rectify any problems. Thanks for any info or advice you may have!

:) :) I am very much interested too in getting tickets thru the vatican for a tour but I am not going til sept. what date did you request when you faxed? maybe it is just too early , I hope its not too late for you ...let me know anything you find out..thanks
