PARKING Paying for at NYC Pier..

Am trying to search for a thread that will answer this question..but am not having much luck..or am not doing it correct.

 

Can someone tell me if you pay for parking at the NYC pier when you enter the lot..or at the end of the cruise when you leave?

I think they take credit cards now..would be great to know. Thanks in advance.

When you enter and they do take some credit cards. Warnig the CC machine was down a couple of weeks ago and they only took cash. Be prepared

Cruise Parking (Multi-Day Passengers) $24.00 Per Day

 

Daily Rate (Up to 10 Hours) (Drop Offs/Visitors) $22.00

 

Overnight Rate (per 24 Hours) $25.00

 

Monthly Rate (For Parking in Excess of 8 Days) $180.00

 

 

Taxes are included in the Rates.

 

Payment accepted in Cash or Travelers’ Checks.

 

Visa and MasterCard Accepted.

 

Reservations are not accepted.

I am cruising from the Red Hook Port in July and am planning on spending a couple of days in New York City before the cruise. I have contacted the hotel and they are unsure if they will be able to accommodate my vehicle in their underground parking garage. (I have a full size four-wheel drive pick-up.) I was wondering if I could park my truck at the port two days before the departure date. I have emailed this question to the Port with no answer as of yet. Any help would be great. Thanks.
