I promised my son monkeys

:confused: Has anyone been on the Belize Jungle Spa Excursion lately....and can report on the monkeys at the property?

 

Are they there?

Are they wandering the property? or..in a caged area?

Can you physically interact with them?

I am not sure about the place you are asking about but we were there a few years ago with my 3 1/2 year old and one of the places we went to was the Baboon Sanctuary.... It was GREAT. They are in the wild. You pay a few bucks each and a man walked us thru the jungle area and started making noises and then all of the sudden all the monkies started to come down. They knew him. We took tons of pics really close up. We got to feed them leaves. IT was really simple but a neat experience...

I posted a couple times before too...

I am THINKING or Guessing her name was Margaret Monteroso.... Something like that. I just cannot remember. It was about 3 years ago. She was great. She got 3 more people off the pier area when we arrived. You may try Google for local belize tours guides too.
