Has anyone joined Carnival Vacation Club?

We went to the presentation while on board the Conquest last week and couldn't decide whether to join or not. I'd like to hear from someone who has used it to decide if it is a better value than we could get from shopping around on the internet.

Do a search on these forums and see for yourself what people who have joined have said.

 

Some people have said it was a true deal, some said it was an OK deal but not one they would repeat, and others were furious with the CVC.

 

From my observations, more people have had negative reports than positive, but you have to take all negative reviews here with a grain of salt. Some people just come here to vent.

 

The only way to know for sure is to read a lot of the posts on this subject. There is a wealth of information here about it.

Just remember that the ONLY affiliation between the Vacation Club and Carnival is that Carnival lends its name to the Vacation Club, it is NOT a part of Carnival.

 

Search the boards and you will find more information than you can digest in one reading on this subject.
