PlaneJoy Posted June 12, 2006 #1 Share Posted June 12, 2006 Hey folks! I know that this has been covered somewhere before but I can't get the search function to work and have searched 11 pages of posts trying to find another thread on the subject. DH and I are going on the Majesty in Sept. It will be our first cruise on RCCL. We are already looking into our next cruise and will probably choose RCCL again. Does RCCL offer any incentives to book another cruise on board or even offer this service at all? We went on the Disney Magic and I believe they offered a 10% discount. We have never booked so far in advance before, but with school age kids now, we are going to have to plan farther in advance. Thanks!

Yes you can book on board and receive an on board credit for that new booking. The amount depends on the number of nights booked. For example a seven night cruise is $100.00. AFT_LOVER Posted June 12, 2006 #3 Share Posted June 12, 2006 They have the latest additions to the cruise package with the best of the best available for a cheap price. $100-$200 depending on weeks booked. SO you get cash from the casino or use it for tips, whatever you want. Then sit home a few months later & watch the prices climb.
Hollster Posted June 12, 2006 #4 Share Posted June 12, 2006 So if you book another cruise while still on board, does it have to be for the same ship, or can it be any RCCI cruise?
bride and groom Posted June 12, 2006 #5 Share Posted June 12, 2006 Ok, we're thinking of booking Explorer for a Bermuda cruise this summer (meaning 2006) and, we're very seriously looking at Explorer for the holiday sailing in 2007. The full suites appear to be already sold out on the holiday cruise, do we wait until August and book onboard to get the onboard credit or do we book now and still have a chance of getting the cabins we want? AFT_LOVER Posted June 13, 2006 #6 Share Posted June 13, 2006 Folks were booking both. RCCL owns both, so it is the same company.
PlaneJoy Posted June 13, 2006 Author #7 Share Posted June 13, 2006 Thanks for letting me know! I think we've picked out the Rhapsody for 2007, but I'm totally sold on it yet. Booking so far in advance is very foreign in our household. :)
