cruisersnorkler Posted June 14, 2006 #2 Share Posted June 14, 2006 Go to the Grand Cayman web site from Grand Cayman. www.caymanislands.ky It is all of the snorkling information, maps, and more.
captNcrunch Posted June 14, 2006 #3 Share Posted June 14, 2006 I would recommend Eden Rock for snorkeling its a short walk from the tender pier and the snorkeling is excellent, then you can catch a cab to 7Mile Beach for beach, food and drinks! cruisersnorkler Posted June 14, 2006 #4 Share Posted June 14, 2006 There used to be a better map that I liked better. It may still be there as you explore the site. There was also a snorkle guide which I haven't found yet. I did find this map on the site at http://www.divecayman.ky/flashmap/default.asp
cruisersnorkler Posted June 14, 2006 #5 Share Posted June 14, 2006 Don't forget to zoom in on the map.You can go to specific land areas. Then move hand over red dotes. There is script explaining the name of the Dive/snorkle site. We have snorkled at some of them. Cemetary Reef at the end of island is also a good snorkling spot. zydecocruiser Posted June 19, 2006 #7 Share Posted June 19, 2006 Any suggestions on the best place to go on 7 Mile with good snorkeling ,drinks, food? Really aren't going to find all 3 in a single location on 7 Mile Beach. Cemetery Reef is at the northern end of 7 Mile, but there are no facilities. You can walk to Eden Rock, Cali, and some others for snorkeling. 7 Mile begins about 2 miles from the tender docks. Here is a shore snorkeling guide: http://caymanislandsdiscounts.com/OffshoreSnorkeling.htm
