Can I get $$$ Back??

If I book directly through Carnival and then the price of the cruise goes down, will they credit me the difference or am I just out of luck??

If you haven't made final payment, talk to your Carnival PVP, and you should get a rate reduction. If you have made final payment, you will probably get a shipboard credit. Always works for me that way.

How do you find out if the price went down? I booked through a TA. Do I contact them or is there a way to look it up?

It's funny, but i just checked the prices and they have gone UP. So i guess no credits for me. Thanks for the info.

I booked directly with carnival. I paid in full in march for a sept sailing. I have already gotten one reduction credited to my charge card. call your personel planner with carnival. They will work with you :) if your cruise price goes down..

Nago & Bella - Keep checking the Carnival site for rates. Anytime you see a lesser rate than you paid, contact your booking agent. In September, I got a shipboard credit THREE days before my cruise. Just gotta be diligent. In the weeks just prior to my cruise, I check daily. It pays.

 

Bella - I book directly w/Carnival PVP, so I'm really not sure how a TA or online agency handles this. Hey, just ask her!:)
