gtaylor Posted June 18, 2006 #3 Share Posted June 18, 2006 The shops will be open, but the island, especially the Dutch Side, certainly celebrates Thanksgiving, with almost every restaurant offering up a big American style Thanksgiving Dinner or buffet. Proud Nana Posted June 19, 2006 #5 Share Posted June 19, 2006 Will the stores be open when we are in port Good question! Thanks for the answer. Our family will be cruising on the Valor and porting at St. Maarten Thanksgiving Day as well. I hope there will be a few young cruisers on board for our two very young grandsons to enjoy.
