Baltimore pier

We're thinking of doing Granduer out of Baltimore MD this fall. Can anybody tell me anything about the pier, especially any near by hotels??

The Baltimore pier is brand new. There are no hotels in the immediate area, but hotels are a short (5-10 minutes) away. I would suggest staying near/at the Inner Harbor. I assume you're driving?
