Caitlyn Posted June 17, 2006 #1 Share Posted June 17, 2006 If we use the pools and beach at the Wyndam, Cable Beach, is there a place to change your clothes? We are coming in on a cruise and have a full day and evening at Nassau and from reading the post here on the board going to the Wyndam for the beach and pools, lunch, sounds great, but would like to be able to change clothes before getting back on the bus or going shopping. Thanks

Thanks There are no dressing rooms or lockers available, but there are public restrooms on the main floor that you could use. (if you don't mind changing in the bathroom). WindinmySails Posted June 23, 2006 #4 Share Posted June 23, 2006 Are these free? I read that the Hilton is $15 for towels, Kayak, etc. Can anyone please advise? We'd love to do a beach/pool thing and these sounded good. Are these a possibility? I don't want to cheat anyone, if these are only for hotel guests. Thanks! WindinmySails Posted June 24, 2006 #5 Share Posted June 24, 2006 Which would be better, Hyatt or Wyndam for going to the pool and beach? Thanks
scubagirrl Posted June 24, 2006 #6 Share Posted June 24, 2006 Which would be better, Hyatt or Wyndam for going to the pool and beach? Thanks I think you mean Hilton... which is a small, quiet and peaceful hotel, not a resort. They have a small pool and a tiny slip of a beach, but it is tranquil and relaxing. The beach is on the harbour, near the port, and has white sand and crystal clear waters. There are a dozen or more palapas on the beach and plenty of umbrellas at the pool. It costs $15 pp to use the beach/pool and facilites. Kids are expected to behave and there's likely to be more business suits near the pool than bathing suits. (it's a business hotel). So no splashing or carrying on in the pool. I read recently that the Pool will be closed in August from the 21 to September 1st for repair. So those who are interested should ask at the desk if the pool is open before paying. The wyndam is a great location at Cable beach. The pool is great, with a slide, and the beach is a small lagoon, but it is next door to a long expanse of beautiful pristine beach. Cable Beach (and the Wyndham) is a busy resort. Lots of families, music, games etc. It's not as laid back as the Hilton.
