Can anyone tell me how much the ruma ctually costs per bottle? Is there a limit as to how much you can purchase?

I have been anxiously awaiting someone to answer these questions for you, as I too am curious. I can't beleive no one has yet been able to answer. I thought BBD rum was one of the main things to purchase while in Cayman. I will be there in two weeks, so if someone hasn't answered by then, I will be able to let you know.

I don't think any liquor is actually distilled in Grand Cayman, but you can try contacting BBD himself...

I went there last week and the bottle was $14 or $15. It was a regular size bottle. I asked if they had small bottles but the guy said they only have one size.

Was there last week. we bought 4 btls and looked at the receipt, First 2 btls $14.99 each and btls 3 and 4 $10 each. did not say it in the store. Looking at the btl it says "Distiled in the Caribbean and bottled by melcher group lelstad Netherlands.

so it came to about $50 US for 4 bottles , right ?

 

did you have any trouble with Customs about quantity of liquor brought back ?

 

Do they sell this on the ship too ? or just in port ?
