Can you please tell me the best way to get to the pier from the airport. We do not have transfers.

 

Taxi rates are regulated by zone. Most taxis are really mini-van. There is a dispatcher desk just outside the baggage claim area. They will give you a written price ticket with a copy to the driver. You will know exactly what the cost will be before you get in the taxi. Tipping is at your option.

 

Do a forum search. I believe the current rates were posted in the last couple months.

Yes a taxi is the easy way to the pier. 15 minutes and you are there but how about contacting some of the tour companies that may have a vehicle available for a pick up at the airport and with a tour of the city before boarding and this way you get to know more about the port, the old city and 513 years of history
