pes949 Posted June 19, 2006 #1 Share Posted June 19, 2006 We will be on the crown July 2nd and I still cannot find much detail about activities for older teens. We are 2 families and have 4 teens with us... They really want to have interactive participation in activities and so many are restricted top adults(lots of these they would enjoy) or the activities are too young for then. Simply telling them to go to the teen area to just hang out sounds very boring. They would love to be involved in contests that challenge their physical and mental skills. As we are close families we really want to do things together while on the ship(shore excursions are no problem). So... Please post information about activities... Does anyone know about Scolarship@sea activities? what is typically offered and is there a link to the descriptions. We love photography so I am sure we will sign up for that since all of of us really enjoy photography.
LARGIN Posted June 19, 2006 #2 Share Posted June 19, 2006 There will be activities for the 15-17 year old in the Off Limits Teen Program. They include dance parties, sports competition, Karaoke, Video games, etc.. The 18 & 19 year olds are treated as adults except they cannot drink or gamble.. GStonelake Posted June 19, 2006 #3 Share Posted June 19, 2006 We took a 17 year old and 19 year old girls on our last cruise ... they couldn't do anything together ... 17 year old could not go into the clubs, 19 year old could not do teen program activities. They decided to "find" fun things to do on their own together (swim, shows, boys) and had a great time.
