Alchohol on board

Recommended Posts

Can someone give us some insight into whether or not you can bring on wine, beer, liquor? In 2001, we cruised the Paradise and talked to many people who brought on liquor & beer without any questions. However, Now I am reading about sneaking it in, smuggling, hiding in water bottles, etc.

We are cruising the Valor in August, please give us some guidance

You can keep it in the original bottle, bubble wrap it, put it in a zip lock bag and stick it in your checked luggage. If you are bringing beer, put it in a extra rolling suitcase, with a collapsable ice chest, tip the room steward and they will keep it on ice all week. Use the extra suitcase to bring home souviners. Happy sailing!
