WE are going on the Dawn out of NYC on July 15th. How much will the taxi fare be from LGA? How long should it take? Would we be better off using a shuttle? Thanks Vicki

FROM SOUTHERN MANHATTAN OR BROOKLYN: Take Westside Highway (12th

Avenue) North to 55th Street and continue to port. Entrance on 55th Street only!

FROM EASTSIDE MANHATTAN OR BROOKLYN: Take the FDR Highway. Travel across

town on 42nd Street (Major Street). Turn left onto 10th Avenue and continue to 55th

Street, make left and go to port.

I don't think the person who wrote those lives in Ny. Its about 10 miles to LGA and the fare should be around $30.00 plus tolls and tips.

Kennedy is 20 miles with a fixed rate of $45.00 plus tolls and tips.

From Newark 17 miles its also fixed at 45.00 plus toll and tips.

 

From the Terminal its actually different. There is no set fee to Kennedy and Newark is the meter plus $15.00 plus roundtrips tolls and tip(should be about $70.00. To get exact miles use mapquest and the address of 711 12th avenue I believe. To Kennedy should be about $60.00 and to LGA the same $30.00. Supershuttle is available from both Kennedy and LGA- not newark..http://www.supershuttle.com

Super Shuttle does actually serve Newark airport - just used it recently.

Lga isnt far at all with out traffic
