sd1029 Posted June 22, 2006 #1 Share Posted June 22, 2006 Yesterday I booked the 8 night Liberty E. Carribbean leaving 4/28/07. I did not pay attention to what was below the room. Now I see that cabin 6335 on the Upper deck (an 8A balcony) is directly above the casino. Do you think it is going to be too loud at night? Thanks. luvz2run2000 Posted June 22, 2006 #3 Share Posted June 22, 2006 You will be fine, you are right next door to the cabin we had earlier this month. We were in 6339 (6337 is an inside). You are actually over the the sitting area outside the casino. We never heard anything from the casino and we were up really late most nights. In fact the only noise we really heard was the band from the late night deck party by the pool and that's because we slept with the balcony door open. If we would have closed the door, we wouldn't have heard a thing.
KPATE Posted June 22, 2006 #4 Share Posted June 22, 2006 Just curious, do all Carnival cruises do late night bands by the pool? I will be on the Spirit in a few months and would love that.
luvz2run2000 Posted June 23, 2006 #5 Share Posted June 23, 2006 Every CCL cruise I have been on has had at least one late night deck party. There are also other times that there will be live music on deck near the pool.
redskin80 Posted June 23, 2006 #6 Share Posted June 23, 2006 We were in 6312 last year above the Casino, the first night was loud, but was tooooo tired, the next day I went to the Pursuers desk and asked for ear plugs and explained why, they checked and could not move us as the ship was full, but stated they would speak to the Casino manger and ask that the ringers be turned down after 10:00 pm, they sent us a letter of aplogy and some drink tickets after that we could barely hear the bells from the Slot Machines. sd1029 Posted June 23, 2006 Author #7 Share Posted June 23, 2006 Thanks for the feedback, I will keep the room since it appears we are over some chairs by the casino and not directly over a slot machine. :) On the Pride we were on the Panorama deck directly below the stage on the Lido deck and that was not too bad. We were at the late night deck party so it was no big deal.
