Parking/Transportation in New Orleans?

Hey guys! I will be leaving on a cruise from New Orleans in October and am in the process of planning WAY AHEAD.

 

Does anyone know anything about the parking situation at the ship terminals there?

 

I already have my hotel reservations as have found that I can leave my car parked, at no charge at the hotel while on the cruise, but I am not sure about the best way to get from the hotel to the terminal. The hotel

by the way, is the Radisson at the airport in Kenner if that helps with possible suggestions that you may have.

 

I am trying to figure out if it would be more economial to leave the car at the hotel and take some other form of transportation to the terminal or if

public transportation will be so costly that it would be just as beneficial to park at the port.

 

Ideas? Suggestions?

This will probably get moved there, but you might want to go to the port forum and seach on "New Orleans" to bring up a ton of information...
