Should we take the cruise line transfers to the dock or take a taxi. Which airport in NY is the best to fly in to?

Also can you recommend any reasonable hotels in NY for an extended stay in Midtown?

I would take the transfers, myself. Let Cunard worry about your luggage and all.

From other threads on these boards, I gather that either Kennedy or LaGuardia would be best to fly into. (I am from right here in Brooklyn)

 

Also from these threads, I think most people have chosen the Cunard tranfers. I am sure someone with experience will help you in that regard.

reasonable hotels in Manhattan is almost an oxymoron. Try Hotels.com or any discount place.

 

As for transfers, Cunard is the easiest but I hate waiting for the bus. If you go to the US threads there is a discussion of this and other Red Hook issues also on the Princess threads...
