Problems with pressure in ears while underwater

I was hoping to try out Snuba diving on my cruise in December but am worried that I might not be able to do it. I have very sensitive ears and I can't go down more than 3 or 4 feet in a pool without my ears hurting. Does anyone know if wearing ear plugs would eliminate this problem? I would really love to do the Snuba but don't want to waste my money if I am not able to do underwater due to the pressure in my ears. Any suggestions would be helpful.:D

Bobbigrl27,

My e-mail is: shoot3gun@yahoo.com

Contact me and perhaps my wife and I can meet you for dinner. We like to get to know our "neighbors" who cruise. As a matter of fact, we are cruising with a couple in February who we met just this way. They live in Grand Ledge.

We cruised this last January with a second couple from Grand Ledge who we met on this board and had dinner with a couple from Saranac. This is a great board for meeting cruising buddies.

Denny
