Majesty Menus from June 11-18, 2006

I scanned the menus and posted them on Webshots. There are a lot of them, dinner, LeBistro, room service, breakfast & regular menu, bar & cafe menus, kid's menu, etc.... The dinner menus have additional items now also. When I was given the menus, I was told the week we were on was the first with the new additions and she gave me copies of the previous week. I can't remember any of the additions, sorry.

I know a lot of you have been looking for them.

Jackie

They are in My Public Shoebox.....

Is there a way to rotate the image so that the menu is not upside down? We were on the Majesty on May 28 and are thinking of doing that cruise again in October. Would like to see what's new.

I don't know why some of them posted upside down. They were all upright when I posted them. I'll try to fix it, but I'm on a MAC and Webshots says I need to be on a PC to flip or rotate. I'll try posting them upside down and see if they come out right.

Sorry,

Jackie

That's ok, Jackie, they're still great to finally see. I look at it this way, I'm learning a new skill. Thanks for posting them. I'm going again on October 1, and I can't wait.

I wish we were going again too. It really was a great cruise, and the crew and staff are amazing. They all love the Majesty run since it is a little easier than the port intensive ones, and it shows.

I'm going to try to re-scan some of them.

They're all right-side-up now. Thanks.

Nice to see that in addition to the now-infamous macaroni and cheese you can choose from beef, pork, veal, and salmon. The whiners didn't bother to tell us that.

You're welcome. I'll try to scan in the Dailies tomorrow if I can.

Yes, there were plenty of choices and the new additions that aren't even on my scanned menus. We thought the food was very good, and there was plenty of it. If anyone goes hungry, it is their own fault.

Thanks for all your hard work, Jackie. Now I'm really excited about seeing the Dailies. That always makes me feel so much closer to actually being there. I'm glad you had such a great time. My daughter and I are very addicted to the Majesty. We have always had a wonderful time, and we've enjoyed most of the food too. If there is nothing on the menu in the dining room, we check out the Pasta Cafe or go to the buffet. You certainly can't go hungry, that's for sure.

Thank you so much! That was really helpful. Now I know my boyfriend and I will be eating buffet and Piazza San Marco most nights!

perfect example of how food tastes can differ, I thought quite a few things looked good:D. I think it is great how there are now options, for dining on ships, a good chance most people can find what they like.

Happy Sailing!:)

Thank you so much for passing this along! Anything to help me anticipate my Majesty cruise is most appreciated. :D

You're very welcome. I feel the same way and search for all that's out there before (and after) our cruises.

You're very welcome! I hope you get a chance to eat in the dining rooms also. The service was excellent and most of the food we had was too. Remember, you can get things without sauces or get them on the side. The burgers, pizza, salads and hot dogs at Piazza San Marco were very good, and we ate there a few times. The jerk pork one night at the buffet was excellent. Very tender and you could always get it without the sauce also. They also serve sandwiches outside the casino during certain hours.

You've also very welcome. Looks like you do love the Majesty and her Bermuda run! It is so much fun looking forward to a cruise. We really did have a wonderful time. We did go to the Pasta Cafe our last night with another couple and had a good meal. I got the raspberry sherbert for dessert and it was really delicious. It was the only ice cream I had all week, and I didn't want the other desserts offered that night. It was a very pleasant surprise to taste how good it was.

No, you will never go hungry on the Majesty.:D

Yes, it is amazing how much food tastes do differ. We would look at the menus and decide ahead of time where we would go. We always found something we liked somewhere.....

I scanned them in again, and they should all be okay now. Sorry. The kids menu is sideways though.....

Jackie

Thanks Jackie. We have done the Boston to Bermuda cruise 8 times and we are thinking of doing it again on Oct 1. I had never seen a kids menu. I also never realized I could order off that if nothing else appealed to me. We have always found something we liked though. We ate in the Pasta Cafe for the first time when we on our last cruise (last week of May this year)

You're welcome Cruisesandr.... I would love to go again very soon. I really enjoyed that cruise for some reason. Maybe because the crew and staff really enjoy working on the Majesty and it definitely shows in their attitudes. So many of them told us they love the Bermuda run because they get more time to sleep. Sometimes a grilled cheese or a PBJ hits the spot. I don't want or need to eat a full meal at breakfast, lunch and dinner. We also ate in the Pasta Cafe on our last night. It was good.

Thank you. I will be on the Crown on the 9th, usually the menus are the same.

I would think they would be the same also. Now you can plan all of your meals before you board. It is fun to see them for me too, and that's why I figured I would post them. The Crown and Majesty don't seem to have a lot of info out there. We had a CC gathering and ended up meeting really nice people. I hope you have one for your cruise too.

In 2004 I was on the Majesty in May and the Crown in June. The menus were the same.

We have a small roll call going, hopefully we will get to meet.

Thank you again.

You're very welcome. We've been on the Dawn a couple of times and they had a lot of the same things on the menus. I've never been on the Jewel though.

I'm at work and can barely stand it. 11 more days for us. I don't think I can stand anymore anticipation, but I love it anyway. I just said to my son who called, "Guess what I'm doing." "What?" he says. Reading Majesty menues.

Kids are so different. He didn't get it at all. He said to me, "Mom why do you need to read them now? They'll be posted outside the dining room everyday."

I think he's right and I'm neurotic.:D

You're welcome again. I will also be scanning and posting the Dailies. They're probably not the same, but it will give you some idea.

Yes, definitely go if they have a meeting. I set one up by calling their number and they gave me the coordinator's number for the Majesty. Unlike the Dawn's meeting with coffee, juice and pastries, in the Star Bar, it was in the Boardroom with ice water. No biggie though except they had the room set up as a classroom so we had to move all of the tables and chairs to fit. The woman (group service coordinator) who set it up did call me later that day to see if we wanted to set up another meeting. A few officers and the excellent CD, Mike Szwajkowski showed up. The ACD, was also really nice. I got a chance to talk with him in the Polo Lounge one afternoon. Both were very approachable and friendly.
