Childrens Dining Policy

Just recieved the news from the Travel Agent regarding the cancellation of the childrens dining. This action at such late notice I believe is a breach of the trade practices act as P&O clearly advertise chidrens dining in theri promtional brochures and on their website. Sent a note tonight to the MD expressing my annoyance with their poor communication process.

Just thought I would let the world know

Your thoughts???

I am disappointed that there is no kids dining anymore. For both my benefit and others. Our daughter doesn't eat five courses and gets bored at dinner time waiting for us to finish. It is nice to meet other adults and socialise with them.

I also feel for adults who either don't have kids or are having a kids free time and then get surrounded by kids, especially if they are badly behaved. Mind you adults can often behave badly as well.

Someone mentioned in another thread that the new brochure no longer mentions kids dining and it has been out for over a month.

The american cruise ships (at least Celebrity) don't have childrens dining. They do however, have a free buffet open at dinner time so if you wanted to you could opt for that rather than a la carte.

On page 68 of the new brochure under "CHILDREN" it reads

"A seperate childrens only dinner sitting may be available, but minimum numbers are required and only if the total dining room capacity is exceeded"
