Putting Cash on Sail and Sign Card

Morning all,

 

We have always just put the charges on our credit card, but thought about just using cash this time. What kind of a process is it? Does it require an extra line at the Pursers desk? When do you put the deposit down?

Do you put lump sum down and then more if needed?

You put cash on your account once you board at the pursers information desk. If more is needed they will slip a note in your cabin to come back down and add more to your account. Any amount not used will be returned the last morning via a check which they will gladly cash at the pursers desk as well.

You can also put it on your credit card originally and then during the cruise pay it off with cash at any time before the last morning. We usually place it on the credit card and then on the last day pay it off with cash.
