Can anyone explain to me how the guarantee's work? We booked a D2, everything is sold out below B2's. what do you think the chances of actually getting our inside cabin are?

Also, are their coffee makers in the cabin's, if not...what deck is early am coffee served from?

How long before the cruise do you receive docs? And finally... Can you preregister on line...and if so..how soon before the sailing date?

BTW booked on the 01/06/07 sailing.

Thanks,

Katie

Hi Katie,

I will try to answer your questions.

My understanding for the guarantee is that you are guaranteed at least your D catagory. If that catagory is still sold out by the time of your sailing, you may receive an ungrade.

No - there are no coffee makers in the cabins. You have a few choices for early morning coffee.

Room service delivers starting from 6:45am. I used it every morning.:D

The Kings Court on deck 7 also is open early. That is self serve.

I have also read on these threads that Sir Samuels on deck three is open early, but I believe they serve specialty coffees and there is a charge.

You will receive your travel documents 30 days before sailing.

I don't know what you mean by preregister, so can't answer that question.:(

Maria - who hopes this helps

Yes, you can pre register at Cunard.com, that is a fairly new option available.

There is now a $99. special fare available, check with Cunard or your travel agent. I just upgraded from my inside to a balcony for $99.!

Don't forget when you get onboard to sign the Cruise Critic log that is kept at the Librarian's desk. If you have any other questions will be happy to help.

It's an awesome ship, will be on her again in December.

Good Morning, For coffee anytime, on Deck 2 near the internet room seemed to be self serve coffee, tea, juice, water and ice available all the time. Interestingly if you order coffee in the Golden Lion, you will pay for it.

I advised my travel agent of the special and had her contact Cunard. I just did this the day I found the special which was a couple days ago.
