bocacruiser Posted July 1, 2006 #1 Share Posted July 1, 2006 We booked a cat 6 deluxe room with verandah. We had a junior suite on the Freedom and I realize it's going to be older and smaller of course. Just feeling a bit nervous about it but I'm sure it'll be fun. Hans Solo Posted July 2, 2006 #3 Share Posted July 2, 2006 We did 3 Disney cruises in a Cat 6 before we came over to RCCL. The Cat 6 has 268 sq. ft. of room which does not include the verandah to my knowledge. The verandah is about the same size as the balcony on our D-1 cabin on the Mariner- 2 chairs and a small table. Disney has a unique bathroom which is split with separate doors. One room has a bathtub and a vanity sink. The other room has a toilet with a vanity sink. The setup is designed for families and it worked well for our family of 4. We were very happy with Disney. We went to RCCL because had better prices and we now have 2 teenagers. They enjoy the larger ship with more activities that appeal to them as teenagers.
