help with shore Excursion

DOING GR8

Recommended Posts

We are going on the Conquest the last week in October. Can some one suggest a Excursion? We just want to swin on a beach and so some shell hunting. We may want to do some water sports.

Should we book with Carnival or on our own? Please help as this is our second cruise.

The first is with NCL on the SUN and We did not do anything in Belize but Rotan Island was fun. We just played on the beach Parasail.

We miss this port because of the Hurrcane Rita last year.

Wife may want to shop, but she really like to sun bath and play in the water.

We just want to swin on a beach
Just about any of the West side beach clubs will satisfy this want. I'd recommend Paradise Beach Club. You do not need to take an excursion to get there, just take a taxi. Many will be waiting for you once you get off the ship. The fare should be about $12-$14 each way. Try to have exact change. PB doesn't have an admission fee, but you will be expected to buy some food/drinks while you are there. There will be taxis waiting for you when you want to leave.

and so some shell hunting.
You cannot legally collect shells from any of the west side beach clubs. They are in within a marine park. You have to go to the wild East side to legally collect shells. To get there you need to either rent a car (easy to do), or hire a taxi for several hours. The drive to get there isn't very long, but you will want time to explore and the taxi will have to wait for you. If you are at all interested in knowing more about Cozumel, get the map from http://www.cancunmap.com It is the best $8 you can spend getting ready for a trip to Cozumel.
