San Juan time VS. Ship Time

does the time change when i go to San Juan? i mean i heard they say keep you watches on ship time. what should i do about my cell phone? keep it on the time it is or change it to san juan time?

I don't know if this helps but San Juan is in Eastern Standard time. I really get confused with the ship times. I just waited until they told you over the pa system to change clocks when we were on our last cruise.

San Juan is on East coast time during the summer...in the winter San juan is one hr ahead of of East coast time...in other words San Juan does not acknowledge Daylight Savings time....

 

and it has been my past expereince with Carnival that they want you to be on ships time..not whatever time it happens to be on the island you are docking at....
