pipedreams Posted July 4, 2006 #1 Share Posted July 4, 2006 Will be doing the transcanal in October and wondering about shore excursions during the transit. Is there more than enough to see from the ship or would a shore excursion make the day even better? Open to any suggestions since this is a first for us. If you are doing a full transit through the Canal they will not let you get off of the ship. Believe me there is plenty to see while transitting the canal. Now once you get through the canal they do have some excursions at Panama City. That is if you are going east to west. Now if you are going west to east they may have some at Colon. They do offer two or three tours during the transit from tenders. Think we will just stay onboard and wait for Costa Rica. Thanks a lot.
