Any tips on buying silver jewelry?

Where are the best spots? The best prices? We're not afraid of barganing and are ready to shop! We'll be in Cozumel via the Mariner on the 21st of July. Thanks for any advice!

There are a great many shops to buy silver,don't have any one particular store in mind...also look at the craft market. Make sure it is marked.925 and not 9.25 (fake).

Many will bargain, some will not. Do not be afraid to leave the store either, I had a salesman follow me out and finally agree to the price I offered on some silver hair clips.

Where is the craft market?

The craft market is off calle 1 off the south side of the plaza.

 

If you are at the clock tower on the plaza , walk to your right to the first "intersection" (bank and drugstore on each corner). Make a left onto Calle 1 , a short distance in, about where Casa Denis is, you will find the entrance on the left hand side.
