NHRAgroup Posted July 7, 2006 #1 Share Posted July 7, 2006 I need help in finding out if this cabin sleeps up to 4 people. I booked this cabin back in Jan. 06 and told RCCI that I would be adding a third person to the cabin and it was ok with them in Jan, and it was documented by RCCI that it would sleep 4, now I'm going to add a third person and they said no, it only sleeps 2. Can any one tell me if they have been in this cabin and does it sleep more then 2. The web site says it sleeps up to 4 and all the books that list the deck plans says it sleeps 4 and one says 3. Please write if you have any of this info. Thanks
nanfromatlanta Posted July 7, 2006 #2 Share Posted July 7, 2006 From the deck plans, it does appear that that cabin has a third & fourth pullman. The problem may be that although that cabin can accommodate that number of people, that category may be sold out for 3 and 4 people. Did you ask if there were any more cabins for 3 in that category? Sure did, and they told us we would have to go into a suite at today prices. We are suppose to get a call tomarrow from them on how they are going to resolve this, first they said ok and now they say no. RCCI could have a least contacted us when they desided they would let more then 2 in a cabin that fits more then 2. And we were told today that it states in our file of some sort that they noted that they were allowing use to book a third person at a latter date but it wa changed later in the month after booked. CruisinNJ Posted July 7, 2006 #4 Share Posted July 7, 2006 I find it hard to beleive that they have the ship so full for an October cruise that they have restricted occupancy to 2 per room. They do this when a ship is really sold out, such as Brilliance Christmas / New Years cruise, etc. If they don't help you out, let me know the date and I can check the inventory for you. In the future, just give them a name to hold the 3rd or 4th place. You can always change the name in the reservation later (note you can not change the name of the first person and keep your rate, but all others you can - and you can drop them prior to final payment date without a penalty). Good luck!!
