Getting Married in Barbados

Hey Sailboat,

Welcome to the boards. I can't help you with the wedding part we just celebrate our anniversary on the cruises.

Do your homework though and plan carefully. You do not say when your cruise is, but you need to have a backup plan if for any reason the ship is unable to stop in Barbados, like weather, engine issues, etc. And yes this happens!!!

On our last cruise there was a couple that did get married on Barbados. My advice give yourself plenty of time to get all the legal papework done!! Be there as soon as the ship docks. My friends son got married on Grand Cayman and they were running late because they had to wait for the paperwork and the place didn't open on time. SOOO to avoid any hassel remember the legal paperwork. Congratulations on your upcoming marriage and Barbados is a beautiful island.:)
