At 1:00 Pm Edt The Ship Stopped And The Us Coast Guard Vessel Shamul

 

Took All Off.

 

All Were Well After 3 Days In The Open Boat

This happens a lot more than we hear about! Certainly would be interested in seeing the pictures! I bet this added a little excitement!:eek:

This happened as well when we were on the Valor last October and we asked and were told it was a weekly occurence.

 

The Cubans go into the shipping lanes to get picked up - thinking they will have asylum (which they don't). They are almost ALWAYS repatrioted back to Cuba. Wet Foot/Dry Foot. It is very sad they have to live under that dictatorship to risk their lives on an extremely risky and dangerous trip that is all for naught.
