Which is best for snorkel?

Magens Bay is a beautiful, sandy beach... little snorkeling. Coki is a small beach, sandy also but has a near shore reef/rocky area with good snorkeling. Coral World is located on Coki Point, same place Coki Beach is located, and is a marine park.

Hi-

We were at Coki a few weeks ago and thought the snorkeling was excellent!! We have snorkeled a lot and this was pretty cool. The beach itself was very nice too- clean white sand, beautiful crystal clear water, etc. We just took a cab from the ship and spent a few hours there. Went into town to shop later in the day.

We were at Megan's Bay last week and the snorkeling was not good. There were many people and few fish. Also, no reef there to support a lot of marine life to see. :)

Jeff, how much was the taxi and how long did it take? Does the ship dock near where you shopped? Thanks. Marlyne

Not Jeff but the taxi is about $8/pp and it takes roughly 20 mins to get there.

We snorkeled Saphire and had a GREAT time.

It is a much prettier and less crowded beach than Coki, and you can get there by bus for $2 each.
