Ship Excursions

Does anyone have any information about any of the ship excursions on the Celebrity Galaxy to the Mediterranean, particularly the one to Taormina & St. Etna for a full day. I am looking for recommendations for what to do in Sicily and Cannes. Thank you!

I didn't do Etna, I did the 'Taormina on your own' excursion. We drove in the coach to Taomina, spent four hours there, then drove back. Total time away: about 6 hours. It was good: a good mix of 'excursion' and 'do your own thing'.

I am assuming that is what you meant, not St. Etna. If you're talking about the volcano, I can help! It was a fascinating place to visit, and I can highly recommend it. Very interesting, esecially the "baby" craters and the landscape. Make sure you visit the store that was almost enveloped by lava. The flow pushed in a window -- then stopped.
