Norwegian Spirit Balconies?

Are the Spirit's balconies really as narrow as they look in the photos? I've only been on the Coral Princess to compare but the Spirit's looks like a tight squeeze. Anyone been on one to enlighten me?

We sailed on the Spirit the week of June 19, 2004. I found the balcony to be roomy enough. There are two reclining chairs and a table on the balcony, and I don't recall feeling crowded in the least.
