Does anyone throw confetti??

I was just wondering. We are leaving on the Empress of the Seas 8-5-06 out of philly to Bermuda. Does anyone throw confetti when the ship leaves port anymore. I remember seeing it on TV.

Nope, not any more. It isn't environmentally friendly to do so, and you are not allowed to throw anything overboard. (Except for chairhogs' items! JK)

Bring bubbles. That is what I did.

About bubbles.... Just be careful and not spill the liquid on deck. I saw a lady slip and fall in bubble liquid - sprained her ankle - what a great way to start her cruise. And I'm sure everyone would know not to toss the empty bubble bottle overboard. Not bio-degradeable eco-friendly, and could choke and kill sea life.
