Squirrel's Mom Posted July 15, 2006 #51 Share Posted July 15, 2006 Great thread! The LAMB SHANK is to die for. The rum raisin ice cream. (But steer clear of the Kiwi). The soft preztels!!! The french fries at the grill. Any chilled fruit soup.
motherchic Posted July 15, 2006 #52 Share Posted July 15, 2006 tammy you are so right. we always eat at the late seating, enjoy all the courses and never feel as though we have over indulged. deb18 Posted July 16, 2006 #53 Share Posted July 16, 2006 Hi. I keep seeing the goat cheese souffle pop up. But I am not a huge fan of goat cheese. I have only had one mild tasting variety that I have liked. Under these conditions, should I order it when I am going to the SS United States? thanks deb
motherchic Posted July 16, 2006 #54 Share Posted July 16, 2006 I am not a huge fan of goat cheese either, but it was good. I will say if you are unsure there are many other wonderful items to try. Perhaps a buddy will give you a taste of theirs Nadine

My husband loves it. I wanted to try the souffle. We both ordered it. My husband loved it. I did not. The waiter courteously exchanged it for another appetizer when he saw I wasn't eating it. So why not give it a try.

elktoncruiser Posted July 16, 2006 #57 Share Posted July 16, 2006 My favorite things were so simple, The fresh sliced bananas and cream, and the smoked salmon were so delicious that I ordered them every day for breakfast.
