Cruising with 20 year olds

Good Morning,

We will be cruising on Royal Caribbean in September with my 20 year old son and a friend of his.

Will I need anything signed from his parents because he is under 21 years old?

Thanks,

Pat

No. He is an adult (legally @ 18). He doesn't need parental consent to travel alone or with anyone else.

However, RCCL may have restrictions regarding ages allowed alone in cabins. Not sure about those though.

Even though he is over 18, I would get a standard medical release giving you some "guardianship" over medical decisions in the case of an accident and he isn't in any kind of condition to "consent". I am certain your TA would have such an instrument. There are probably some standard forms you can print off of this site.
