mbkteach Posted July 14, 2006 #2 Share Posted July 14, 2006 On our last visit to Nassau (last month) we opted for the day pass at the British Colonial Hilton. It is literally a 10 minute walk from the dock. nice quiet beach, beautiful pool and live music from the pool bar area. It was such a relaxing day. There were plenty of beach chairs and they supply towels. Price was $15.00 per person; $7.50 for our 14 year-old. We thoroughly enjoyed the day....glad that we read about it here! scubagirrl Posted July 16, 2006 #5 Share Posted July 16, 2006 The Hiltonsounds wonderful. Do you know if they provide watersports like jet skis for my teenage son? They don't allow jetski's at the hilton.. the age for riding a jetski in the bahamas has recently been raised to 18. There have been several terrible, and fatal accidents recently. tamilyn Posted July 17, 2006 #6 Share Posted July 17, 2006 We were there last week. Rented a room at Comfort Suites for $323 (total taxes, etc.) for four adults. Had access to the Atlantis beach, pools, etc. We had a wonderful time.
suezyq50 Posted July 17, 2006 #7 Share Posted July 17, 2006 After taxes, etc. we paid $280 in June. We thought is was well worth the money. Once divided out, the same as an excursion, IMO.
hawaii6o Posted July 17, 2006 #8 Share Posted July 17, 2006 Thinking about getting the comfort suites room. What do you exactly get to use at Atlantis? What time can you get wristbands from comfort suites so we can use their facilities?
tamilyn Posted July 18, 2006 #9 Share Posted July 18, 2006 You get access to everything on the Atlantis property. We got our wristbands at Comfort Suites about 10:00 a.m., but I am pretty sure you could get them almost anytime. I don't think the room would actually be ready until after 3:00 p.m., but if you are like us, we didn't want it anyway.
suezyq50 Posted July 20, 2006 #10 Share Posted July 20, 2006 We got our room when we checked in, roughly 10:00. We took a change of clothes with us that we unloaded. We showered at the end of the day. Plenty of room, not as cramped as the ship.
