Nauti-Lady Posted July 15, 2006 #1 Share Posted July 15, 2006 Trying to find out if the Wheelhouse Bar on the Grand is a smoking or non-smoking area. Family is planning a wedding on the Grand and this area has been offered as an alternate site should we have too many people for the chapel. Don't want an area that smells of stale smoke. And before anyone gets upset with this question, I'm not saying smoker's shouldn't have their places. I just want to know for this event of ours. irvjacque Posted July 15, 2006 #2 Share Posted July 15, 2006 The wheelhouse is normally a mixed space. A smoking and non smoking area. If there are a lot of smokers in the room it can be bothersome to some people.
bdjam Posted July 15, 2006 #3 Share Posted July 15, 2006 The cruise line does a pretty good job of keeping the “stale smoke” smell away – that’s why your cabin doesn’t smell when you get there. There probably won’t be any problem and if there was, it would be taken care of if you asked.
