nrgo Posted July 3, 2004 #1 Share Posted July 3, 2004 I am cruising on July 24th to the bahamas and key west - no brainer on how hot it is going to be there, but what is the temperature like on the ship. What about at night. Does it get chilly? Will I need a light sweater?
dexter727 Posted July 3, 2004 #2 Share Posted July 3, 2004 Take a light sweater. It's always cold in the dining room and at the show afterwards. Sometimes you'll even need one when strolling the deck at night.
halos Posted July 3, 2004 #3 Share Posted July 3, 2004 Sometimes a light sweater is needed just because of the air conditioning on the ship, so I'd say, pack one!!
nrgo Posted July 3, 2004 Author #4 Share Posted July 3, 2004 Great thanks for the info! I usually carry a light sweater with me anyway because my office at work is always freezing! But, i'd rather it be chilly then unbearably hot.
Cotton Posted July 3, 2004 #5 Share Posted July 3, 2004 I always take a lightweight shawl that will go with everything; however, I've never needed it! (They sell similiar ones in the gift shop for $10.) The temps just right for me all over the ship, as well as on deck.
IBEEMOM Posted July 4, 2004 #6 Share Posted July 4, 2004 All of the advice about taking something to wear on the ship is good. In Key West the temperatures will probably be in the high 80's or low 90's. However there is usually a nice breeze blowing most of the time. Have a great cruise and good weather. Don't forget the sunscreen and maybe a hat.
