Need suggestions for a Dry Snorkel

I've narrowed down to a handfull of dry snorkels. This will be our first time snorkeling and want a dry snorkel.

 

1.) Sherwood: Absolute Dry Snorkel - $25

 

2.) Aqualung: Impluse Dry Snorkel - $25-$30

 

3.) Oceanways: Sea Start Dry Snorkel - $25

 

4.) Any other brands?

 

Please help with a recommendation, we only wish to spend $20-$25 for a dry snorkel. Would a generic brand from an online company be just as good?

I didn't know dry snorkels existed and they are not that much more money! I'm leaving next week so need to order one ASAP!

Try www.leisurepro.com. I buy all my stuff from them. There's not a lot of difference in the dry snorkel brands, so don't be so picky.

I have this one it works great. It can get wet if you tip the end towards a wave and the wave knocks the float open.

We are once and awhile snorkelers and we got our set at Sams Club. It included a dry snorkel and we've used them four times and they work great. I think they are made by Body Glove. I know they arent a name brand, but they work great and werent that expensive. It came with... a bag to carry everything, mask, fins, and a dry snorkel. If I recall correctly, it cost about 59 bux like two years ago.

 

Good luck....and dry is the way to go. !!

I don't know anything about brands. I ordered mine on ebay. It was brand (in the package) and I paid $15 for it. Having used dry and wet, I would never back from my dry snorkel.
