Carnival Victory Canada 5 days

Travelers: My Mother, Brother, Aunt, (2)Cousins, Grandmother, a family of four from my block, AND ME!!

Getting to the pier: Not a problem, left the house at 11:15 got to the pier between 12, 12:15.

Embarkation: Was on the ship and at the lido deck by 12:40. NOT BAD! While waiting to get our S&S cards, Johnny Miestro (sp?) was in front of us and my grandmother noticed him. She tried to say hello to him but i guess he was in no mood to be bothered with because he didnt even turn around. OH WELL. BTW The funpass line was a breeze!

Food: yumm..wish i was in the dinning room now (drools) lol...The food was overall good, i usually got the sirloin or pasta's. ohh jeez dont even get me started on the desserts! my favorite got the be the baked Alaska and the cherrie jubilee. Also the birthday cake at dinner was $20, last year i remember it being free.

Cabin: Our cabin number was 6406. I don't remember the cabin stewards name but he was very helpful, although we did not recieve an amenities basket. We asked him several times and even called down to the desk but no basket, they kept saying you'll get it tomorrow (never got it)

Soda Card: I got the soda card i think it was $23 for children and $27 for adults.

Ages: I'd have to say that MOST the ship was 13 yr olds. Every where you turned there were lots and lots of them. The dance club for 12-18 yr olds had pretty the young crowd. When my brother and i went for the 18 and up dance there was nobody even CLOSE to our age. So i guess we were the odd people out, WE STILL HAD A GREAT TIME!!

Cha Ching (Casino): Okay peeps...dont make fun..but i won 5 bucks! thats right, on the nickle machine, went in with 2 bucks walked out with 7bucks and bought a lil towel animal for my love<3. =]

The dining room: I had breakfast one day in it, lunch one day in it and dinner all 5 nights in the dinning room. We were on the top floor of the dinning room with great view of the sun setting every night (8pm seating). I dont remember the name of the dinning room but it was the room at the back (aft?). I loved them singing and dancing, "the roof the roof the roof is on fire....." how cute!!!

Tipsy: While leaving Nova Scotia the boat was rockin back and forth, i thought i was going to be sick. There wasn't much motion during the cruise, just that one day and it was pretty bad. The ends of the table in the dining room were shaking and the crew was tipsy. All in all it was just one day.

Cleanliness: The crew is absolutly great, i'd give them an A on this subject. I always saw them mopping near the pools, cleaning the rails, vacumming (sp?) the staircase, just everything it was nice to see them taking care of this beautiful ship, they really do a great job.

Enviornment: The porters where not very nice, just seemed to be rushing people, to much ruckus. There could have been and easier way to handle the situation, i think that there were just to many people waiting to leave the pier while others arrived and people were just MOODY. i was glad to see that when we arrived on the ship there where smiley faces all around.

Captains party: MOST people did dress up very elegantly, and this was nice to see, i didn't want to be the only one in a gown. We took our formal pictures and had some hordorvs(sp?). There was a band playing they were very good but when they would sing Enriques song "hero" they would sing " you can take my bread away", and the guest would give a little giggle. They were very entertaining. The captain did not show up due to the fog.

Past guess party: I TOOK A PICTURE WITH FREDDY!!!!! The Captain was at this one and they showed a slide show of all the ships, it was nice to see.

Cruise director: Skippy Lyons. He was just Ok. Grandma loved him because she was picked to be in the welcome aboard show(SPOONS...IMAGINE lol) and got free bubbly blubbly.

Entertainment: I would get up and look for the papers with the name of the shows and the name of the magician or the name of the comedians but im just too tired, sry, another day. BUT! AWESOME, even the band was FANTASTIC. THE DANCERS EXCELLENT. Loved it!

Ports: New Brunswick - got off called home went back on ship

Nova Scotia- got off called home went back on ship.

It was canada day July 2nd and they were giving out flowers, flags and tatoos of the flag.

debark: Carried our own stuff off the ship. Our ship docked right next to Celebrity Zennith and on the other side was the Carnival Miracle. My uncle came to pick us up and it took a WHILE to get to us on the pier. But when he finally did it was great to see a familar face but then sad becuase i knew my mother wasn't going to make me lunch when i got home =P.

If you have any questions, feel free to post here and sry for the (sp?) its a lil late and im a bit tired.
