RCCL Visa Rewards Question

I have 5,000 points that I would like to apply to an upcoming cruise. The options I'm considering are the $50.00 credit or the robes.

I'm wondering, are the robes the $19.95 "waffle" kind or the $49.95 "terry" kind. (Prices from RCCL's website).

OK, I'll reply to my own thread here. For those of you who are interested.

It is the "waffle" robe that you get with your points.

The $50.00 credit is the better deal.

much better deal since the terry robes are cheap, not $50 to buy, the polo shirts are cheap & both identical with baseball caps that are identical & only in XL.

 

So we get points & redeem for onboard credits. Call MBNA let them know you are deeming the 5000 points for a $50 onboard credit. Within 2 weeks you get a certificate that you fill in your booking number, ship name & date of sail, verify the name & address on the cert is correct & then X $50 OBC & mail into Wichita KS Crown & Anchor Dept as stated on it.

 

I also make a xerox of it & send to my TA who follows up on my total OBC for the cruise.
