logcabin Posted July 21, 2006 #1 Share Posted July 21, 2006 NCL Spirit sailing tomorrow, July 22nd.. Better watch out because here comes the "Noresters"! We have a GREAT group of Roll Call friends (all from the North East) leaving tomorrow on the Spirit. Some of us have been talking/posting on the Roll Call for nearly a year. We have a great group of about 50+ (including family and children). We all seem to know each other already from talking so much on the Roll Call. We have a wide range of ages, a couple getting married on the ship, singles, couples, whole families, etc. We are staying in everything from interior cabins all the way to the Owners Suite. Our CC Meeting is Scheduled for Sunday Morning at 10:30am in King Henry's Pub. We are all so excited to finally be leaving AND meeting each other. I'm sure we'll all be posting our reviews upon our return... Thanks to this GREAT website and all you fine folks for all the help, info and answering all of our questions.... Spirit, here we come!!!! jeffpaddlehawaii Posted July 21, 2006 #2 Share Posted July 21, 2006 Hi Logcabin...... You will truly enjoy your stay in the OS...in a word, it is elegant!!! The decor of the whole suite will blow you away!!! Just be prepared for the fact that it is on the narrow side....except for the master bath which is huge and has a supremely wonderful shower! You will be absolutely pampered by your butler and your stewards. We loved this suite so much that we only left it to go ashore and to the great casino...had all of our meals served en suite and watched dvd's (did bring many from home and did borrow from the library) and became chaise lounge lizards on our narrow verandah! Have a wonderful cruise!!! Aloha, Barby
logcabin Posted July 21, 2006 Author #3 Share Posted July 21, 2006 Thanks, Barby. We can't wait. We got it in an up-sell for a great price. And NO I'M NOT TELLING ANYONE HOW MUCH WE PAID!!! :) We love NCL and have stayed in Penthouse suites on the Dawn twice before. However, this is our first Owners Suite and we can't wait..... Got to go back to packing.... We'll report back upon our return.. Bon Voyage!

I share Scott's sentiments about these boards "preparing" us for our cruise. Everyone has provided such great information so we can get the most out of our cruise. Scott has done a magnificent job in organizing our CC "Get Together" on Sunday....YEA SCOTT! Our roll call has added so much excitement and anticipation as well as getting to know before hand some of our cruising neighbors onboard the Spirit. We are looking forward to a great time tomorrow as we begin our Spirit journey. Thanks again. Don
