number one eagles fan Posted July 21, 2006 #1 Share Posted July 21, 2006 I'm thinking about booking two snorkeling excursions - one on Coco Cay and one in St. Thomas. I am only booking the St. Thomas excursion in the event we can't make CoCo Cay because of weather/tendering conditions. Will there be a charge for canceling the excursion on board? Thanks! CaptData Posted July 21, 2006 #2 Share Posted July 21, 2006 How much time in-between is there? Most cancellations must occur by a certain time or you lose your money. I assume that you are booking through the cruise line. If so read their policy which should be in your handbook that you received for the excurson. I have cancelled two days beore a not lost anything but if it is 24 hours unless it is medical reason you could lose your money.
superjerryw Posted July 21, 2006 #3 Share Posted July 21, 2006 You normally have to cancel an excursion at least 24 hours in advance. Check the daily program as it should tell you what the deadline is for cancelling excursions in the next port. If in doubt, check with the shore excursions desk. As long as you cancel by the deadline there is no penalty.
