3 yr olds & Dolphin Encounter

Has anyone taken little kids to the Dophin encounter in Occho Rios? We have a 7 yr old son & two 3 yr old girls. While I think my son & one daughter would like it, my other daughter might be too scared. Could we (mom & dad) switch off holding her on shore while the others get to kiss/pet the dolphins?

 

Is it worth the extra $50 p/p to have 10 more minutes with the dolphins (the diff in price between the dolphin "experience" & the dolphin "encounter"?

 

The dolphin trip is bundled with a trip to Dunns Falls which I know is too hard for the girls to climb - Has anybody walked up the staircase with two little kids?
